I was commissioned by The Smiley Company - the people who own the iconic smiley face emblem - to design a series of t-shirts based around their logo and its variations. I have had an 'acid house' badge since back in '88, when the smiley face craze swept the UK and I was eleven, so it was a total delight to work with this image.

The designs were based on themes including 'urban skate' 'Americana' and 'Acid House'. I was particularly pleased to work on the Acid House theme as I think that this is the first time that the logo has ever been officially associated with the cultural movement which saw Smilies of various descriptions plastered all over everything.
